Rebecca Lynn Stafford-Moore

Rebecca Lynn Stafford-Moore, 73, of Canton has gone home to be with loved ones on Monday, April 10, 2023. She was born on March 10, 1950 to Gerald and Geraldean (Quigley) Stafford in Aurora, IL. She married Arthur Moore and share a marriage of 56 years. He survives.

She is also survived by two sons, Stephen Zwettler and Jesse Moore; one sister, Pam Oliver; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Rebecca is preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Wendy Lynn Moore; and one brother, Jerry Stafford.  

She earned her living in the housekeeping business raising two families, which included her oldest grandchildren, Miranda Eubank-Moore and John Moore after their mother passed. She will be missed dearly.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM (Noon) on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL. A visitation will be held the same day from 11:00 AM – Noon at the funeral home. Doug Barr will officiate. Burial will follow services at Waterford Cemetery in Lewistown, IL.
