He was born on March 7, 1943 in Macomb to Howard David Sr and Dorthey Allyne Ayers Kellum.
He married Kim Jackson on May 29, 1999, in Florida. She survives.
Also surviving are his children, David (Jeri) Kellum of East Peoria, Bobby (Mary) Kellum of Mackinaw, Michelle (James) Henderson of Killeen, Texas, step children, Mike Walters of Lewistown, Brian Walters of Lewistown, brothers, Joe Kellum of Fort Morgan West Virginia, Terry Kellum of Bettendorf, Iowa, John Kellum of Pekin, sister, Connie (Kevin) Teel of Pekin, seventeen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Dick, Don and Albert and five sisters, Carol Flint, Shirley Kassl, Bonnie Stillings, Dorothy Kells and Iva Michaels Johns.
Bud served in the U.S. Air Force. He retired from Caterpillar in 1996 after 30 years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed bowling, golfing and watching NASCAR.
Per his wishes cremation rites have been accorded by Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton. There will be no services.
