Dale "Bud" Lehnhausen, Sr.

Fairview- Dale “Bud” Lehnhausen Sr., 86 of Fairview, passed away at 7:28 PM on Friday, April 14, 2023 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born on April 30, 1936 in Fairview, a son of Joseph and Nellie (Street) Lehnhausen. He married Helen Cowden on December 8, 1956 in Fairview. She survives.

Also surviving are his children, Becky (Mike) Watters of Ellisville; Dale (Colleen) Lehnhausen Jr. of London Mills; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, Bill, George, Joe, Dick, and Louie; six sisters, Helen, Betty, Lorraine, Dorothy, Donna, and Bernice.

He worked and retired in 1992 from Caterpillar Mapleton Foundry, after 30 years of service.

A graveside service and burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 in Fairview Cemetery. Rev. Kevin VanTine will officiate. Memorials can be made to the Fairview Fire Department. To leave online condolences please visit www.sedgwickfuneralhomes.com
