Richard Wesley Damarin

Richard Wesley Damarin, 83, of Mason City passed away at his home on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. He was born on April 14, 1939 to Walter J. and Florence (Gasaway) Damarin of Elkhart, IL.

Richard is survived by his wife Maureen (Proctor), Son John Damarin of Mason City and Jody (Heath) Loftin of Eolia, MO. Grandsons: Thomas Ross and Wesley Damarin, Granddaughters: Sarah Morgan and Evalynn Damarin, sister Dorothy Gleason of Lincoln. He was preceded in death by 2 sons: Jeff Damarin and Jason Damarin, his parents, mother and father in-law Fritz and Nadine Proctor, daughter -in-law Penny Ross, sisters: Francis and Marie Pickett and brother Wilfred Damarin.
Richard served in the Unites States Army. He worked for Graue Chevrolet, Nickles Chevrolet and Monsanto. He could fix a car like no other. He was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, Dale Earnhardt, and Dale Jr. After Dales passing. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 10:00 AM until Noon at Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City, private family burial immediately following.
