Daniel Edward Shuman

Daniel Edward Shuman, 59, of Havana passed away at 8:25 p.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. He was born on November 10, 1963 in Danville, Illinois to Jerry and Shirley (Allen) Shuman. He married Janet Powell in Danville on November 30, 2007.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Janet, of Havana; step-sons, Brian Thoma, Christoper Thoma, Jr., and Matthew Thoma; and brothers, Christopher Thoma and Fred Shuman. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Daniel worked for Freight Car Industries for 22 years.
Cremation rites have been accorded and no services are planned at this time.
