Janie S. O'Brian, 75, of Canton, passed away, Monday, January2, 2023, at her home in Canton. She was born on July 9, 1947, in Canton, to Alfred and Margurite (Child) Goulding. They preceded her in death. She married Meredith "Moe" Ellsworth. He preceded her in death in 1986. Surviving are two children, Artie Ellsworth of Bryant, and Lisa (Michael) Baisch of Canton, three grandchildren, Tina (Matthew) Credille, Daniel Ellsworth and Liberty Baisch, and two great grandchildren, Jaxon, and Elizabeth. Janie was previously an LPN at Sunset Manor, Pekin Hospital, Coleman Clinic and for the Fulton County Sheriffs Office. Lastly, she worked at Eastview Elementary School. Janie enjoyed gardening, frogging, and keeping koi ponds. She enjoyed all animals domestic and wild and was never afraid to bring a stray into her home. She also loved cooking and most of all spending time with her family. A funeral service will be held on Monday January 9, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton.
