June R. Gray

Canton- June R. Gray, 90, of Canton, passed away at 9:17 AM on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. She was born on June 21, 1932, a daughter of Allen and Edith (Homan) Ladd. She was married to Samuel Gray for 60 years, he preceded her in death on October 2, 2013.

Also preceding June in death are both of her parents; her daughter, Deborah Courtney; three brothers; and three sisters.

Surviving her are her children, Laurie (Ed) Goodwin of Cuba, and Lisa Park of Peoria Heights; five grandchildren, Stephen Rothrock, Nicole Sandberg, Jennifer Wilcoxen, Jolene Wilcoxen, and Samantha Franciskovich; and seven great-grandchildren.

Throughout her life, June spent many years as a homemaker.
