Pearl L. Clementz, 103, of Peoria, formerly of Manito, passed away at 4:00 a.m. on Friday, January 20, 2023, at Apostolic Christian Skylines, in Peoria. She was born June 13, 1919, in rural Manito, Illinois, to Glen and Viola (Withers) Talbott. She married George F. Clementz on August 7, 1938, in Havana. He preceded her in death on May 17, 2009.Mrs. Clementz is survived by one son, Dr. Greg (Linda) Clementz, of Park Falls, Wisconsin; two granddaughters: Abby Rogers, of Effingham, Illinois, and Deanna (Neil) Wilkie of Chicago, Illinois; as well as two great-grandchildren: Dylan Clementz and Ava Rogers. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and four siblings: Corrine DeSutter, Kathleen Griffin, Gnile Talbott, Robert Talbott and Earl Talbott.
Mrs. Clementz was an active member of Forest City Community Church. She loved baking and had an article written about her Coconut Cream Pies published in the Peoria Journal Star. She was also a well known prayer warrior in her church.
Graveside services will be held at Meadowlawn Cemetery, in Manito, on Monday, January 23, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. Rev. Guy Williams will officiate.
