She was born December 23, 1927 at Banner, IL; the daughter of Hobart and Barbara (Grissom) Fidler. She married Dean Huff on June 9, 1945 at Lewistown. He died November 23, 1996. She was also preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, and one sister. Survivors include two children, Dennis (Carol) Huff of The Villages, FL; Marsha (Bruce) Sutphen of Lewistown, five grandchildren, Barbara (Greg) Mills, Bruce Sutphen Jr; Andrew Sutphen, Cory (Jenni) Huff, Brady (Jody) Huff, six great grandchildren, Chasity Sutphen, Olivia Huff, Ciera Huff, Aiden Huff, Evan Huff, Jaiden Walters, and one sister, Lois Hess of Canton.
Lila had worked at the Fulton County Farm Bureau and also at the Fulton County Court House. She was a member of the Lewistown United Methodist Church and the Ruth Circle at church.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday January 12, 2022 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown. There will be no visitation. Condolences may be made at henrylange.com
