Carol M. Wilcoxen

Fiatt-Carol M. Wilcoxen, lovingly known as "Big C", 83, went to be with the Lord on Sunday. January 2, 2022 at Graham Hospital in Canton.

She was born on August 23, 1938 in Peoria to Henry and Helen (Bilderback) Shirley. They preceded her in death along with her step-mother, Mary Brown, her husband, Dickie Wilcoxen whom she married on May 17, 1957 in Canton, one son, Kevin Wilcoxen, one brother, Bill Shirley, one sister, Betty Hulva and her mother and father-in-law, Marie and Raymond Wilcoxen.
Surviving is one son, Richard (Christine) Wilcoxen of Avon, two sisters, Alice Shoemaker of AZ, Jean (Nels) Hickman of Havana, five grandchildren, Delson (Keely) Wilcoxen, Tiffany Haskins, Devin (Adam) Kozicki, Jherica Wilcoxen, Jeffrey Crowell and four great grandchildren, Makayla, Addison, Kynlee and Emmalyn.
Carol enjoyed crocheting, cooking, fishing and reading the Bible. She was a longtime member of the Fulton County Farm Bureau.
Cremation rites have been accorded through the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton and there will be no services per her request. A private family burial of the ashes will be held at the Salem-Wilcoxen Cemetery at a later date.
