She was born January 25, 1955 at Canton the daughter of Robert and Donna (Swango) Mustread. She married Robert Martindale on February 15, 1976 at Smithfield. He survives. Also surviving are her mother, Donna Mustread of Smithfield, four children, Jerry (Lisa) Nunn of Tallula, Annie (Derek) Kolbus of Slidell, LA; Marlo (Don) Willett of Petersburg, and Robyn Smith of Petersburg, two brothers, Bill (Dawn) Mustread of Smithfield, and Bruce (Jackie) Mustread of Pontiac, and eleven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Mark Mustread.
Debra was the marketing and admissions director for HCR Manor Care in Galesburg retiring in 2012. She was a member of the Brock United Methodist Church of Smithfield. Debra enjoyed gardening and was actively involved in her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events. She enjoyed projects with her husband at the farm and around the house. She loved spending time with family.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at the Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba with Chaplain Kenny Kline officiating. Burial will be in Baughman Cemetery at rural Smithfield. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the memorial home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cuba Christian Church or the Lewistown VFW Post 5001.
