Lynne E. Atterberry

Lynne Ellen Atterberry, 74, of Havana, passed away at her home at 12:48 a.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. She was born on May 17, 1952 in Streator, Illinois to Dean and Martha (Koval) Zeigler. She married Darrell Atterberry on April 5, 1975.

Lynne is survived by her husband, Darrell of Havana; children, Korey Atterberry, Nathan (Erin) Atterberry, and Bethany Atterberry; and grandchildren, Evan, Mia, and Peyton Atterberry. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Daniel.
Lynne was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and taught for many years at Havana High School. She enjoyed quilting and reading. She especially loved her dog, Abe, her grandkids, and spending time with her family.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Havana, with a visitation one hour prior at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Ian Heinze will officiate. Burial will be held at a later date at Phillips Cemetery in Streator.
