He was born on July 9, 1987 in Canton.
Surviving is his father, Rick (Sharon) Edwards of Canton, his mother, Valerie Walker of Conway, S.C., his children, Sunni Rose Edwards, Lilli May Edwards, the mother of his children, Jeanna Edwards of Lewistown, maternal grandmother, Marion Christensen, sisters, Samantha (Dave Robinson) Edwards of Franklin, IL, Michelle (Daniel Smallwood) Elam of Bartonville, Miranda Walker of Reno, NV, and his nieces and nephews, Isabella, Logan, Sophia, Sienna and Ronan.
Ben worked as the plant operator for Peoria Sanitation District. He had a gift for playing the guitar and played in various bands including, “Sour Mash”. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed Deer hunting, waterfowl hunting and competed in several goose calling competitions. Ben was also an animal lover but most of all he loved his two daughters, Sunni Rose and Lilli May.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a private graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton. Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Memorials can be made to an education fund for his children C/O Mid America National Bank.
