Margaret E. Horvath

Margaret E. Horvath, 82, of Canton, went home to be with her Hunny Frank on, Saturday, August 30, 2025, at her daughter’s home surrounded by her loving children.

She was born at home in Table Grove, on December 10, 1942, to Harland and Elizabeth (Wages) Parker. They preceded her in death.

Margaret married Frank A. Horvath Jr. on September 8, 1961. They shared 62 years of marriage before he passed away on April 18, 2024.

She is survived by three children, Richard Horvath, Christine (Doug) Henry, and Frank K. (Lynn) Horvath, six grandchildren, Richard (Kelly) Shane (Rachael), Justin, Brent (Stephanie), Shavell (Miguel), and Brooke, twelve great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, two brothers, Kenneth and Larry Parker, and two sisters Ruby Lindo, and Cindy Dotzert.

Margaret was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Canton. She worked for Graham Hospital, and at various nursing homes in the canton area. She also cleaned homes. Margaret enjoyed playing bingo and taking trips to go gambling.

A funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Canton on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. where visitation will be held one hour prior to the mass.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
