Joseph Kruzan

Joseph Kruzan, 98, of Canton passed away at 12:53 PM on Friday, January 3, 2025 at Graham Hospital in Canton. He was born on February 5, 1926 in Canton, a son of Clarence Edward and Alice May (McCamitt) Kruzan. He married Betty Hagen, she preceded him in death in May of 1988, and later married Annave Johnson, and she preceded him in death in December of 2011.

Also, preceding Joseph in death were his parents, daughter, Bonnie Barnes, six brothers, and six sisters.

Surviving Joseph, is his grandson, Bob (Diana) Barnes of Canton; granddaughter, Brandi Barnes of Canton; three great-grandchildren, Kelsey (Daniel) Barger, Cory (Danielle) Barnes, Braden Munson; two great-great-grandchildren, Edmen Joseph Barnes, and Peyton Iris Barger, also surviving is one son-in-law, Bob (Sandy) Barnes of Canton.

Joseph started his career working for Senn’soldwedel Dairy, later starting, and owning Kruzan Roofing & Construction, and retiring from Caterpillar. He served as a past officer of the Salvation of Army in Canton.

Graveside services and burial will be held at 2:30 PM on Friday, January 10, 2025 at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton. Pastor Gary Kruzan will officiate. Memorials can be made to The Salvation Army of Canton. To leave online condolences please visit www.sedgwickfuneralhomes.com
