Born June 24, 1931 in Peoria, IL; daughter of Edward B. and Hallie E. (Barnhill) Johnson. She married Paul E. Noble on June 27, 1948. He preceded her in death, as well as her parents, two sons, David W. Noble, and Bruce Noble, one sister, and one grandson. Surviving are two daughters-in-law, Charlene Noble of Cuba, and Julie Noble of Gibsland, LA; four grandchildren, five step grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two sisters, Teresa Schleich of Monmouth, and Mary Pruett of McAllen, TX.
She was a graduate of Cuba High School and a legal secretary for 24 years. A member of the Cuba Christian Church and served as board secretary and deaconess. Member and Past Oracle of RNA, Camp 525. Volunteered at Clayberg Nursing Center and Fulton County Health Department.
Arlene’s funeral will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday January 19th at the Cuba Christian Church with Pastor Mike Arnett officiating. Burial will be held at Cuba Cemetery in Cuba. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba is assisting the family with arrangements.
