Canton - George Wayland Jr, 59, passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at his residence.
He was born on September 30, 1962.Surviving is his mother and step father, Helen and Harold Hyer of West Virginia, his girlfriend, Penni Hansen of Canton, one brother Steven Wetland, one step brother David and his two children.
He was preceded in death by his father George Wayland Sr and one sister, Lisa Hyer.
George worked as a chef and enjoyed watching football and NASCAR.
Cremation rites have been accorded at the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton and no services are to be held.
