Mary Waddell, 98, passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at the Graham Hospital in Canton.
She was born on November 1, 1922 in Lewistown to Thomas and Marie (Bloyd) Locke. They preceded her in death.
She married Lawrence Waddell in October of 1958. He also preceded her in death in 1980.
Surviving is one daughter, Linda McFarlin, four grandchildren, Chris (Gary) Babcock, Paul (Mary) Hasse, Dianah (Randy) Hart, Jenny Hasse, eight great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Ed Locke and four sisters, Helen Locke, Louise Widger, Ruth Dunham and Elma Locke.
Mary worked as a florist at Canton Florist and was a member of the 1st Christian Church in Canton.
Most of all she loved her family.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, May, 14, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton. There will be no visitation.
Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton has been entrusted with services.
Memorial may be made to the Fulton County Humane Society.
