Ruth May Bohanan, 90, of Canton passed away at 5:22 pm, Saturday, November 14, 2020 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center Emergency Room in Bloomington.
She was born on May 15, 1930 in Canton to Russell Thomas and Helen (Hays) Cook. Ruth married Robert Bohanan on May 28, 1949 in Philadelphia, PA while Bob was serving in the US Navy. He preceded her in death on August 25, 2010.
Also preceding her in death were her parent, two brothers; Charles O. Cook and Bob E. Cook and two sisters; Mildred L. Williams and Alma Lucille Wilson.
Surviving are four sons; Richard "Rick" Bohanan and Randy "Tyke" (Jeanette) Bohanan both of Canton, Robert "Rob" Bohanan of Normal and Rusty "Rut" (Lisa) Bohanan of East Peoria, one sister Nancy M. Bishop of Canton, ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
