Nancy Lynn Terry


Nancy Lynn Terry, 74, of St. David, passed away at 1:07 AM on Monday, November 16, 2020 at her home. She was born on April 1, 1946 in Canton, the daughter of James and Mary (Demery) Malone. She married Robert Dale Terry on May 9, 1963 in Fulton County. He preceded her in death on December 3, 2017.

She is also preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Arthur Malone, best buddy/partner in crime, Pat Wooddell; and one half sister, Sherry Mosher.

Nancy is survived by the father who raised her, Russell Rawley; four children, Tessi (Eddie) Davis of Conyers, GA, Kimberly (Donnie McKavitt) Terry of Farmington, IL, Bobby Terry of St. David, IL, and Terra (Ryan) Malott of Lewistown, IL; three grandchildren, Austin Jacob (Beth) Davis, Taylor Grace Malott, and Brady Ryan Malott; one great-grandson, Cooper Allen Davis; two brothers, Steve Malone and Fuzzy Malone both of Missouri; four sisters, Jeanie Hart, Sandra Grove, Debbie Vaughn, and Tina Crotzer; sister-in-law, Jeanetta Malone; beloved pet, Sophie Marie.

Nancy retired as a cosmetologist. She enjoyed gardening, crochet, cooking for friends and family, and baking pies for the St. David Optimist Club. She loved looking out her window, watching the humming birds, and squirrels. Nancy was famous for her potato salad and chicken and noodles. Nancy was the definition of unconditional love.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the St. David Optimist Club at a later date. Cremation rites will be accorded through Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton.
