Shirley M. Keefauver, 98, of Cuba, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2020, at Graham Hospital in Canton.
She was born on October 24, 1921, in Cuba, to Lionel “Tom” and Amy (Davies) Mason. They preceded her in death.
She married George Keefauver in 1940, he preceded her in death in 1959.
Also preceding her in death is three brothers, Neil Mason, Tom Mason and Jim Mason, two sisters, Flora Frazier, and Dora Gray, and one grandson Eric Keefauver.
She is survived by two children, Phillip (Ann) Keefauver, Roger (Beverly) Keefauver, three grandchildren, Todd (Cathy) Keefauver, Molly (Shawn) Craig, Emily (Jon) Guderjan, one grand daughter-in-law, Lisa Keefauver, eight great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
Shirley worked at Cuba High School and the Cuba Farmers Elevator and the Day and Palin Grocery Store and was a member of the Cuba United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be held at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton on Sunday, October 25, 2020, from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m., a private burial of ashes will be held at Cuba Cemetery. Due to COVID – 19 Mandates, facial coverings are required and social distancing will be practiced.
Memorials may be made to Lewy Body Dementia Association.
