Ronald “Ron” L. Haughawout Jr., 57, of Bushnell, passed away at 10:17 AM on Monday, August 3, 2020 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center. He was born on December 22, 1962 in Canton, IL to Ronald L. Haughawout Sr. and Pamela (Werry) Haughawout-Haggerty. He married Amy Carper on January 12, 1985 in Canton, IL. She survives.
Also surviving is his mother, Pamela (Scott) Werry-Haughawout-Haggerty of Ellisville; three sons, Jude R. Haughawout of Bushnell, Eric W. Haughawout of Canton, and John L. Haughawout of S.C.; one brother, Scott Allen Haughawout of MN; and his mother-in-law, Eleanor Carper of Canton.
Ron was preceded in death by his father.
Ron worked as a jeweler and also as a personal support caregiver.
A memorial visitation will be held at a later date at Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL. Memorials can be made to Autism Society or American Heart Association.
