Mary L. Weaver, 78, of Canton, passed away Monday, August 24, 2020, at OSF Richard Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.
She was born on July 7, 1942, in Lewistown, to Harold D. and Olga A. (Hazard) Eveland.
She married Gordon A. Weaver on September 1, 1960 in Canton. He preceded her in death on April 11, 2020.
Surviving are two sons, Randy A. (Tammy) Weaver, and Eric D. (Teresa) Weaver, both of Canton, two brothers, Max Eveland, and Craig Eveland, eight grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death is one grandson,
Mary enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and baking, especially cookies. She was also an avid NASCAR Fan.
A funeral service will be held on Friday August 28, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton where visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be held immediately following the services at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton. All COVID – 19 social distancing precaution will be followed, and facial covering are required.
