Joshua "Slim" Stockman, 42, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at his residence.
He was born on March 15, 1978 in Canton to Steve and Debbie (Johnson) Stockman.
Surviving are his parents of Canton, one sister, Brittany (Ryan Vogel) Stockman of Canton, one brother Travis (Tina) Stockman of Springfield, IL, three nieces and one nephew.
Josh spent his life traveling throughout the country rolling with the music he loved with his friends from coast to coast all while touching the lives of everyone he met. Most recently he returned home to spend time with his family and his friends here.
He was an avid guitar player and was a huge fan of Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead.
Most of all Josh strived to make everyone happy.
A visitation will be held on Monday, August 31, 2020 from 12:30 pm - 1:45 pm at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton. A burial and graveside funeral will follow at 2 pm at the White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton.
