Naomi McLouth


Canton-Naomi McLouth, 86, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Graham Hospital in Canton.

She was born on July 17, 1933,in Ludlow Township, to Rev. James H. Livingston and Dorvis Elizabeth (Loy). They both preceded her in death.

She married Homer Justin McLouth on August 17, 1952, in Cuba, Illinois, he also preceded her in death.

Surviving are five children, Dennis (Linda) McLouth of Berwick, IL, Kenneth (Candice) McLouth of Marietta, IL, Marilyn (David) Barnett of Canton, IL, Nancy McLouth of Canton, IL, and Lori (Kenneth) Huggins of Canton, IL, one brother Phillip (Pat) Livingston of Fithian, IL, three sisters, Alice Huffman of Luxemburg, WI, Martha Long of Abingdon, VA, and Mary Myers of El Paso, TX, ten grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

Naomi was a member of the Eastside Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, oil painting, playing accordion and piano, and playing scrabble. She was a mother or grandmother to all who knew her. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and loved ones.

Cremation rites have been accorded according to her wishes through Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory. A burial of her ashes will be held at White Chapel Memory Gardens at a later date.

Memorials may be made to Mississippi Valley Blood Center.
