Harold G. Lynch


Cuba- Harold G. Lynch, 87, of Cuba, passed away at 3:25 PM Thursday March 26, 2020 at Clayberg Nursing Home in Cuba.

He was born January 11, 1933 at Canton, the son of Harry and Edith (Mills) Lynch. He married Virginia “Ginger” Power. She preceded him in death along with his parents, one son, Harold Gene Lynch, and one sister. Survivors include four children, Rod (Debbie) Lynch of Cuba, Ronnie (The late Jalyn) Lynch of Cissna Park, Susie (Russell) Johnson of Cuba, and Harry (Becky) Lynch of Fiatt, ten grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.

Harold was a lifelong farmer and also retired from International Harvester. He was a member of the Fulton County Fair Board for many years. He had great love of horses and was the owner of Central Illinois Starting Gates, and a member of the Thoroughbred Association.

Due to the pandemic restrictions, a private family graveside service and burial will be held at Cuba Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at a later date and will be announced by Henry-Lange Memorial Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Clayberg Nursing Home Activity Fund.
