She was born on August 3, 1929 in Canton to Ray and Gladys (Rilea) Murphy. They preceded her in death.
She married Anthony Tomlianovich on January 26, 1952. He preceded her in death on August 6, 1998.
Surviving is her daughter, Carla (Robert) Courtney of Canton, two grandchildren, Michael (Lauren) Courtney, Mitchell Courtney, two step grandchildren, Robert Courtney Jr, Jody Specketer and three great grandchildren, Anna Courtney, Neyla Courtney and Townes Courtney.
Also preceding her in death are three children, Tommy, Pamela and Jack Tomlianovich, two brothers, Raymond and one infant and one sister, Lucille Walker.
Shirley worked for Graham Hospital for 30 years. A she enjoyed playing Bingo, going on bus trips to casinos and watching her grandsons play sports..
Most of all she was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial service will be held on Thursday evening at 6 pm at the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton with a visitation one hour prior.
Burial of the ashes will be held at White Chapel Memory Gardens at a later date.
