She was born on June 7, 1935 in Canton to Burton Francis and Louise (Smith) Burnett. They preceded her in death.
She married Richard Sharpe in Canton on December 24, 1958. He survives.
Also surviving is Esther’s daughter, Cheryl Sharpe, and Cheryl’s partner, Stuart Francis, of Norman Oklahoma.
Esther worked at the Adams County Farm Bureau in Quincy and for General Electric in Bloomington. She enjoyed genealogy, gardening, photography and traveling with her family.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 10 am, at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton. There will be no visitation.
Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton has been entrusted with services.
Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
