Lewistown- Shirley M. McCance, 80, of Lewistown passed away at 11:21 AM Sunday January 19, 2020 at her home.
She was born December 22, 1939 at Astoria the daughter of Henry and Clarine (Bankes) Palmer. She married Dale McCance on June 20, 1959 at Smithfield. He died July 1, 2005. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister. Surviving are two sons, Jim (Dawn) McCance of Lewistown and Charles McCance of Colchester, one brother, Carroll Palmer of Lewistown, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Shirley was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, watching television especially game shows and collecting cook books.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Baughman Cemetery at rural Smithfield with Reverend Larry Wright officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to Harbor Light Hospice. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at henrylange.com.
