David Paul Stufflebeam


Trivoli – David Paul Stufflebeam, 79, of Trivoli, passed away at 3:40 AM on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at Unity Point Health Methodist. He was born on October 23, 1940 in Canton, IL to Paul and Helen (Smith) Stufflebeam. He married Elaine Beecher on October 20, 1963 at the Farmington United Methodist Church. She survives.

Also surviving are two children, Dawn of Hanna City and Dana (Bill) Guppy of Glasford, IL; three grandchildren, Lillian, BreAnn, and Brogan; one great-grandchild, Callia Jane; one brother, Charles Stufflebeam; one sister, Gayla Chockley.

David was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Michael and Howard Stufflebeam; one sister, Elizabeth Stufflebeam.

David worked and retired from Caterpillar Inc. on April 1, 1997. He was a farmer most of his life. David was a member of the Farmington United Methodist Church. He loved animals, old country music, and his children and grandchildren. David was also a die-hard Cubs fan.

Services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, January 24, 2020 at the Farmington United Methodist Church where a visitation will be held an hour prior. Rev. Walter Carlson will officiate. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in rural Trivoli, IL. Memorials can be made to the Farmington United Methodist Church.
