Lewistown- Roland C. Myers, 94, of Lewistown passed away at 4:15 PM Sunday October 2, 2016 at Sunset Manor in Canton.
He was born October 31, 1921 at Deerfield Township the son of Frank E. and Flossie M. (Grubb) Myers. He married Eleanor A. Fraikes on October 18, 1941 at Palmyra, MO. She died June 9, 2013. Surviving are three sons, Terry (Marilyn) Myers of Lewistown, Van (Cheryl) Myers and Jeff (Laura) Myers both of Canton, one brother, Bill Myers of Morton, one sister, Ila Sloan of Avon, seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and three sisters.
Roland worked at Caterpillar retiring after 37 years.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown with Reverend Jerry Sawyer officiating. There will be no visitation.
