Lewistown- Michael M. Gibboney, 84, of Lewistown, passed away at 4:45 PM Saturday October 1, 2016 at Heartland Health Care Center in Canton.
He was born January 11, 1932 at Lewistown, the son of Perl H. and Pansy (Johnson) Gibboney. Survivors include two nephews, Phillip (Linda) Gibboney of Chicago, and Kenneth (Jeanie) Wilson of Arkansas, one niece, Judith Wilson of Arkansas, and one sister in law, Betty Gibboney of Lewistown. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Kenneth Gibboney, and two sisters, Marjorie White, and Patricia Ann Barns.
Mike served in the US Army from 1951-1953 and also in the National Guard. He retired from the Ohio River Company.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown, with Reverend Ted Shirley officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10:30-11:00 AM. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery at Lewistown. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity of the donor’s choice. Condolences may be made at henrylange.com
