Canton-Lloyd Eugene Ryan, 74, of Canton passed away at 12:13 pm Sunday, February 14, 2016 at Graham Hospital in Canton. He was born on September 11, 1941 in Knox County. The son of Floyd Harry and Wanda (Hoadley) Ryan. Eugene married Nancy Petty on February 23, 1962 in Cuba, IL. She survives along with 3 children; Gene (Trinna) Ryan of Canton, Jeff (Kim) Ryan of Toluca, and Jennifer (John) Krieger of Smithfield, 7 grandchildren; Anthony, Brittany, Brock, Halee, Samantha, Jessica, and Austin, 2 great granddaughters; Raveigha, and Ella. Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, brother Kenneth Ryan and a sister Lois Virginia Ryan.
Eugene worked at Caterpillar as a machinist retiring in 1997.
