Farmington – Annette Gioannini, 101, of Farmington passed away at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2016, at Farmington Country Manor.
She was born November 7, 1914, in Gilchrist to John and Lucille (Gagliardo) Gioannini.
She is survived by one brother, Edward Gioannini of Farmington.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, John and Joe Gioannini.
Annette was a teacher at local country schools until moving to Chicago to teach at Thornton High School, where she ultimately retired from.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2016, at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Farmington. Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials in Annette’s memory may be made to the Spoon River College Foundation.
