Surviving are his siblings; Alan (Edralene) DeGroot of Popular Bluffs, MO and Lisa (John) McKeever of Canton, sister-in-law Kim DeGroot and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Brian.
William worked as a CNA for over 40 years.
Cremation rites have been accorded through Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton.
