Rex Jett

Rex Jett, 84, of Canton, passed away on May 27, 2025 at the Loft in Canton. He was born on August 21, 1940 in Geneseo, IL. to Edward W. and Isabelle (Brown) Jett. Rex first married C. Marlene Foster and later married Judith A. Probyn. They both preceded him in death, along with his parents.

Surviving are three sons; Brad Jett of Summerfield, FL, Troy Jett and Joe Jett both of Canton, two step-daughters Jennifer (Jay) Murphy and Amanda (Mike) Emery both of Canton, one sister DeEtt Hummell of Lewistown, eight grandchildren: Faith Jett, Tyler Jett, Zack Jett, Zella Jett, Brittany Murphy, Marrisa Murphy, Aden Emery and Jace Emery, two great-grandchildren.

Rex worked as car salesman for several years and was a member of First Baptist Church in Canton.
