Judith (Judy) Mason

Judith (Judy) Mason, 85, of Lewistown, IL, passed away peacefully at home on May 15, 2025. Judy was born on September 16, 1939, to Bud and Ferne (Smith) Cluney and grew up in Summum, IL. She married Willis (Si) Mason of Lewistown, Illinois, in 1963. Willis & Judy were married 60 years when Willis passed away in 2023.

Judy is survived by two daughters, Helen Mason and Linda Mason, both of Canton, IL; two grandchildren, Sam Mason of Madison, Wisconsin, and Claire Mason of Washington, D.C. She is also survived by 4 brothers & sisters: Melba Lindsey of Astoria, Kenny Cluney of Chillicothe, Terry Cluney of Peoria, and Mary Herrera of Auburn, California.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Willis, and her parents.

Judy enjoyed a good book, a challenging crossword puzzle, and spending time with her family and her dogs. Judy’s family was the center of her life, and she was blessed with many fun, family memories.
