Leland Wallbaum

Leland Wallbaum of Bath, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at Arcadia Care in Havana, Illinois. He was born on September 8, 1935, to Clarence F. Wallbaum and Henrietta (Spilker) Wallbaum.

Leland was raised on his family’s farm in Bath. He graduated from Balyki High School before earning a degree from Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Illinois.
In his early years, Leland worked at Kiefer Electric in Peoria, Illinois, and later farmed alongside his father in Bath.
Leland was cherished by his family and friends. He will be remembered with deep affection. His cousins hold fond memories of their time together, and his presence will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Leland is survived by many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana, with Rev. Brian Lesemann officiating.
