Lowane Coppenbarger, 89, of Canton, passed away, Monday, January 29,2024 in Canton. She was born in Liverpool, on January 9, 1935, to Arnold and Sylvia (Riley) Rilea. They preceded her in death along with one daughter Vicki Hall, three brothers and two sisters.
Lowane married Gordon Coppenbarger on October 16, 1955 in Havana, and he preceded her in death on July 8, 2021.
She is survived by four children; Kelly Rawley , Sonja Cozad, Julie Coppenbarger and Gordon Coppenbarger all of Canton, one sister Beverly David of Liverpool, six grandchildren; Andrea Sorrells, Alicia Evans, Brandy Cozad and Jill Rawley all of Canton, Carly Cronk of St. Pete, Fl. And Ryan Cozad of Glasford, seventeen great grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
Lowane worked at Sunset Manor for eight years as a CNA and Activities Director later worked as the Social Services Director. She also worked at the Riverview Inn in Liverpool. She enjoyed to crochet and her younger years. Lowane was of the Christian Faith. Cremation rites have been accorded by Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton.
