Gary Streeper

Canton- Gary Streeper, 69, of Canton, IL, passed away at 8:08 AM on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Renaissance Care Center in Canton, IL. He was born on July 06, 1954; a son of Jimmie Reece and Phyllis (Dodgen) Streeper Sr. They preceded him in death.

Also preceding Gary in death were his two brothers, Jimmie Reece Streeper Jr. and Fred Streeper; one niece; and two nephews.

Surviving him is one sister, Diane Behymer; sister-in-law Teresa Streeper; one niece; one nephew; and many great nieces and nephews.

Gary graduated from the Illinois School for the Deaf in Jacksonville, IL. He then worked for FCRC in Canton, IL for years. He “loved” being teased by his great nephews; those moments never failed to rouse him from his own little world.
