Billy Joe Troutman

Billy J. Troutman, age 64, passed away at 10:13 pm on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 in the Emergency Room at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville, Illinois. He was born on August 8, 1959 in Carthage, Mississippi, the son of Billy L. and Joann (Turner) Troutman. He married Julie Fairburn on March 12, 1999 in Rushville, Illinois. She survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Kody (Dylan Passmore) Petrie of Beardstown, Illinois and LaGina (Cody) Miller of Rushville, Illinois, one son Christopher (Leeanne) Troutman of Colorado Springs, Colorado and six grandchildren; Hunter, Ryeker, Konner, Maci, Joseph and Cooper.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, Clyde and Girlie Turner.

He worked at the Vermont Foundry in Vermont, Illinois and for Zeta Plastic Factory in Macomb, Illinois.

Billy’s three favorite things were Hunting, Fishing and Carpentry.

A visitation will be held from 2-4 pm on Saturday, January 20th, 2024 at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria, Illinois. Cremation rites will be accorded following visitation.
