Judith A. Griggs

Judith A. Griggs, 83, of Canton, passed away at 9:06 pm, January 5, 2024 at her residence. She was born on June 18, 1940 in Canton to Harold V. and Vivian I. (Dilley) Rose. Judy married Ted Griggs on July 5, 1980 in Canton. He preceded her in death on March 7, 2000. Also preceding her in death were her parents, son Rayce Tindall, brother Gary Rose and sister Marsha Rose.

Surviving are two children; Lance (Tammy) Tindall and Autumn Whittin both of Canton, five grandchildren; Adam Tindall, Brandon Tindall, Katrina Tindall-Haggard, Dylan Whittin and Ethan Whittin and seven great-grandchildren.

Judy was a member of the First Baptist Church in Canton. She loved to listen to music and going to concerts and traveling.

Cremation rites have been accorded by Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton where visitation will be held from 5-7 pm, Wednesday, January 10, 2024. Burial of ashes will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens at a later date.
