Kathy L. Gorsuch

Canton- Kathy L. Gorsuch, 75, of Canton, passed away surrounded by her loving family at 7:50 AM on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at her residence. She was born on May 30, 1948 in Canton, a daughter of Paul and Dottie (Bishop) Sebree. She married Donald Gorsuch on June 4, 1966 in Summum. He preceded her in death on April 17, 2017 in Canton.

Also preceding her in death were her parents.

Surviving are her children, Curtis (Chris) Gorsuch of Canton; Brian (Amy) Gorsuch of Cuba; Kim (Jorge) Garcia of St. Louis; Daniel (Leslie) Gorsuch of Farmington; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Mark (Caroline) Sebree of Terre Haute, Indiana; one sister, Debbie (Jim) Cassel of Carmel, Indiana, and her special companion, Joe Stone.

Kathy owned and operated Gorsuch Appliances in Canton with her husband, Donald for many years. Her most joy, was spending time with her family in the Lake of the Ozarks.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, where a visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of services. Pastor Mike Henson will officiate. Burial will follow the services, at Brunswick Cemetery in rural Trivoli. Memorials can be made to the Donald Gorsuch Scholarship Fund in care of Ipava State Bank.
