Eric is survived by his mother, Linda Mae Rebman; father and stepmother, Harold (Denise) Rebman;
sister, Leslie (Corey Crotz) Ann Rebman; nephew, Caiden Crotz; his cat, Simba; aunts, Connie Kelly,
Lorna (Roger) Provine, Luanne (Leonard) Stockdale, and Beverly Hoke; uncle, Dennis (Barbara) Harden;
step uncle and aunt, Gary (Nancy) Blakely and many cousins. He is also survived by some wonderful life-long friends, who were like brothers to him, and their children who called him "Uncle Eric". He is preceded in death by his grandparents Eldon and Ninabell Harden, Irene Teel and Clarence Rebman; step grandparents, Kenneth and Joyce Blakely; and uncles, Donald Hoke and Dan Kelly.
Eric was a graduate of Havana High School and then attended Lincoln Land Community College for one
year. He worked as a vending machine technician for Breakroom Services and more recently HOI
Vending, Inc. He loved his job and thought of his employers like a second family. Eric enjoyed working on
cars, especially on his 96 Mustang that he worked on almost every day. He also enjoyed learning about
technology, and served as his family’s unofficial IT guy. He had a sense of humor that would catch those
that didn’t know him, off guard. Eric was also a member and a trustee of the Central Christian Church.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Hurley Funeral Home
in Havana. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 8, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. also at Hurley Funeral
Home. Rev. Dr. Donald Graham will be officiating.
Memorial donations may be made in Eric’s name to Central Christian Church. Online condolences can be
