Angela R. Bishop

Angela R. Bishop, 59, of Hanna City, passed away at 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at her residence. She was born on September 28, 1964 in Peoria, IL to Bob DeVere and Francis Erlene (Good) Stewart. She married Phil Bishop Jr. on January 26, 2015. He survives.

She is survived by four children, Shane DeVere (Beth Phillips) Stewart, Dillon Andrew Reissen, Samantha Erlene Reissen, and Cody (Hannah Jones) Bishop; two grandchildren, Stella and Nellie Bishop; one brother, Rick Stewart; three sisters, Judy Franken, Lisa Stewart, and Shelly Stewart; and two beloved cats, Millie and Pepe.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Angela worked at Stewart’s Family Restaurant for many years. She graduated from East Peoria Community High School in 1982. She was a member of the Trivoli United Methodist Church. She loved to paint and crochet.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at the Trivoli United Methodist Church in Trivoli, IL. Visitation will be held the same day at the church from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Rev. Rick Kensinger will officiate. Burial will take place following the service at Princeville Township Cemetery in Princeville, IL. Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
