Wiley Mansker

Wiley J. Mansker, 98, of Freeburg, IL, formerly of Peoria County, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2023 at the Freeburg Care Center in Freeburg, IL. He was born on November 8, 1924 in Cherryville, KS, to Wiley and Nancy (Hopkins) Mansker. He first married Dorothy Bartholowmew. She preceded him in death on March 18, 1991 and later married Donna Wilcoxen. She preceded him in death on March 14, 2011. Surviving are his children, Donald (Sue) Mansker of Kansas City, MO, Vickie Mansker of Freeburg, IL, John (Mary) Mansker of Freeburg, IL, eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Lonna Hall and nine sisters. Wiley served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He worked for Caterpillar Tractor Company and retired in 1982 after 35 years of service. He was a past member of the Farmington Bible Church. He was a Ford car enthusiast and owned an antique Model A. Wiley took several trips out west and enjoyed watching old westerns. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at 1 pm at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton with a visitation held one hour prior at the funeral home.
