He was born on December 16, 1960, in Canton, to Richard K. Sale and Gloria Joan (Jackway) Walton.
He is survived by two brothers, Johnny D. (Gail) Sale, Ramsey Walton, four sisters, Diane (Brent) Rader, Sherry Bundy, Tina (Steve) Hooker, and Andrea (Jack) Whitehead, his step mother, Edna Sale, several close friends he held close to his heart, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death are his father Richard and his step father Joe Walton, and the love of his life, his cat Sassy.
In his younger years he worked at Wright’s Furniture in Canton, Mike Phillips Pool Company, and later worked for Sale Plastering and Rader Plastering, along with doing countless side jobs.
Dick made his home with his mother as her caregiver. He is a believer in God and prayed every night with her.
He had a passion for the outdoors, he enjoyed mushrooming, fishing, gardening, camping and outdoor concerts, and will always be remembered for his good food he made on the grill. Most of all Dick enjoyed spending time with all his friends and family.
Cremation rites will be accorded, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the family for a memorial bench to be set at Canton Lake Campground.
