He was born on November 7, 1953, in Kewanee, to Daniel and Norma (Wilson) Behymer. They preceded him in death along with five sisters, Crystal Terry, Jackie Crotts, Linda Cecil, Sharon Frank, and Sue Harris.
He is survived by his son Donovan (Rachel Fox) Behymer, one brother, Sam (Sheila) Behymer, two sisters, Denise (Kenny) Duncan, and Dawn (Jim) McCance, and one step grandchild, Lexi Ramey.
Jimmy worked at Farm King in Canton for many years. He was “Mr. fix it” if there was something broken Jimmy was the guy to fix it. He enjoyed catching catfish on the Bernadotte dam, and frying them for friends and family. He was also an avid Chicago Cubs fan. Jimmy served in the United States Air Force from 1971 until 1973. Most of all Jimmy loved spending time with his friends, family, and his best friend Buddy.
A visitation will be held on Monday July 31, 2023 at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. following the visitation burial with military honor’s will be held at Highbridge Cemetery in Dunfermline.
