She was born on April 1, 1943 in Peoria, IL, to Edward and Helen (Zink) Kleen.
Surviving are her children, Erin (Dr Kevin) Berry of Marquette, MI, Andra (Dr Jason) Chamberlin of Canton, IL, grandchildren, Shaun (Grant) Shepard of Alexandria VA, Riley Kate Devlin of Fairbanks, AK, Jace Tyler (Kenzie) Chamberlin of Canton, IL, Alexandra Rae Chamberlin of Canton, IL, nieces, Kim Reda, Jill Turney and nephews, Jeff Turney, Jay (Diane) Turney, and many great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Karen Turney.
Marianne retired on January 12, 2012 from Graham Hospital as a payroll accountant after 35 years of service. She was an accomplished seamstress and made all varieties of items including, kids clothing, prom dresses, bridesmaid dresses, barbie doll clothes, Halloween costumes and T-Shirt pillows. Most of all she loved her grandkids and never missed a sporting event or sending a card for any accomplishment in their lives. Marianne lived her incredible life dealing with the long-term effects of childhood Polio but she never complained or let it slow her down.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton from 2-3 pm. A graveside burial of the ashes will follow at Elmwood Township Cemetery in Elmwood.
