Pete is also preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Paul Mosher.
He is survived by his mother-in-law, Melba Markley; two children, Teresa (Kevin Sheriff) Mosher of Des Moines, IA, and Allen (Tina) Mosher of Kansas City, MO; three grandchildren, Danneal Mudd, Angel Reyes, and Kelsey Mosher; seven great-grandchildren, Malachi Ford, James “Perry” Sharpe, Trey Mudd, Brylan Ray, Piper Sissom, Chase Sissom, and Abby Reyes; two brothers, John “Jack” Mosher and Joe Mosher; two sisters, Linda Reed and Maryann Harris; a special thanks to Hillary Pasley and all his friends at Grant Keime.
Pete worked and retired after over 20 years from the post office. He was a past commander and member of the Canton VFW Post 1984 and Cuba American Legion Post 533. Pete volunteered for the Cuba Fire Department/Rescue. He was also veteran of the United States Army. He served in Vietnam from 1969-1972.
Memorial service with military honors will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at the Canton VFW Post 1984. Rev. Ellen Dodd will officiate. Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cremation rites will be accorded with Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL. Memorials may be made to Grant Keime or Canton VFW Post 1984.
